Creator's Note:
Here is another Sims 2 machinima video that I originally created last year for my wife on our 13th anniversary. At first, I was not going to use this clip for the podcast because I had used Ennya's "Far and Away" as the background for the video. Happily, I was able to license a great song by Radio City Riot. At first, I wasn't sure the more up-beat and faster tempo would fit, but now I couldn't imagine any other song for this video.

Could it be that the meaning of life was right there all along?

Creator's Note:
This was a fun clip to work on, but may be more of a product of insomnia than anything else. I'd like to claim authorship of the concept behind this video, but it is based on a punch-line that I heard a long time ago...

I, Titus

The Story:
For six weeks, General Titus Copernicus has laid siege to a fortified barbarian stronghold. His advisors grow impatient, but Titus has a secret plan that will win the war and destroy his enemies.

Creator's Note:
This is actually my second attempt at machinima using the Rome:Total War engine. The music and the sound was generated in-game. The voice acting is, unfortunately, mine. In a later entry, I will post my first Rome machinima called Roman Questions, but for now, I hope you enjoy "I, Titus"
Well, here it finally is. After months of thinking and talking about it, I have finally put up my first video podcast. Athlwulf presents will be a hodge-podge of machinima, animation, and video. Originally, I intended this to be strictly a machinima site, but on further reflection, I wanted to be able to use any medium that could help me tell a story--or even sometimes a joke.

I am posting this blog a few weeks after I originally posted my first podcast, so this is not truly the first posting, but I wanted to provide a place where I could discuss (or allow others to discuss) individual episodes and the stories behind the stories. Along with this blog, there is a companion blog called Machinima (http://www.idatadesign.net/machinima/blog.htm) where I will post and discuss other issues around machinima beyond my own creation.

Please enjoy!
